Background

Hirondelle is a privately owned hospital specialising in providing rehabilitation and reconditioning care services including hydrotherapy, physiotherapy and occupational therapy. Extensive refurbishment of their now state of the art facility was completed in early 2015.

 
 

THE CHALLENGE

It was time the Hirondelle brand matched the quality of the people, facilities and service. The challenge was to strategically align the brand and its values with the look and feel of their offering.  

 
 

THE RESPONSE

In paying respect to the company's rich family history, we developed a more contemporary logotype while retaining the brand's core elements. The new logo emphasises the brand’s progression into the twenty-first century.

The brand mark was inspired by the word "l'hirondelle" which is French for the swallow bird. The swallow is symbolic of new beginnings which is represented by the abstract bird graphic depicting forward progress, optimism and growth.

We worked with Hirondelle to update the brand's entire marketing collateral suite, including stationery, photo shoot, brochures, uniforms and responsive CMS website.

 
 

The Result

A stronger, more coherent brand that places Hirondelle at the forefront of rehabilitation hospitals in the Sydney area. The new marketing push has been instrumental in bringing in new patient referrals and the launch of a new day patient program. All metrics for the website have shown significant improvement, and the staff are chuffed with their new uniforms!
